Welcome to the Tupou College Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TCTVET) program. As an integral part of the oldest secondary school in the Pacific, TCTVET is dedicated to providing young men with practical, industry-aligned skills that bridge the gap between academic learning and the modern workforce.
Our programs are designed under the Tonga National Qualifications Framework (TNQF) and are accredited by the TNQAB, ensuring our graduates receive credentials recognized both in Tonga and across the region.
Vocational Streams & Levels
TCTVET offers comprehensive training across several core technical disciplines. Our curriculum covers TNQAB Levels 1 through 3, with selected pathways now expanding toward Level 4 to align with international standards.

- Certificate 3 in Construction Trade Skills Level 3 – Pass Form 6, SST L2 Carpentry SST Franchise Program
- Certificate Level 2 in Automotive Light Vehicle – Pass Form 5 or CITVS L2
- Certificate Level 2 in Carpentry – Pass Form 5 or CITVS L2
- Certificate Level 2 in Electrical Engineering – Pass Form 5 or CITVS L2
- Certificate in Technical and Vocational Skills Level 2- Pass Form 4 or CITVS L1 or Complete Form 5
- Certificate in Technical and Vocational Skills Level 1 – Complete Form 4
